It gives me immense pleasure in welcoming, on behalf of the entire campus community of the Infant Jesus Engineering College, the new entrants to this Institution. Though the institute has a standing of just Twenty two year, the kind of stake and reputation this management has got as Excel Career Institute, known for its excellence in teaching and training the students in Engineering Entrance, would speak volume of the commitment of the management towards the students community. The College has been started to lay the foundation of modern engineering education and the use of engineering practices in the infrastructure and technological development of the country.

Over the years, this management has the unique distinction of developing and deploying the system of good pedagogy and training, that always commensurate to suit the changes of the modern developments of the society and the system has evolved to reach and hold a unique position of pride in the technical education system in Tamilnadu. As of now, it has 6 academic departments. The Institute offers 5 Under-Graduate courses in engineering, 2 Post-Graduate courses in engineering and M.B.A. This management has the rich heritage of past and has had its standing as one of the best technical institute in Tamilnadu. Apart from academic activities, the co-curricular activities, sports, adventure, cultural and social- service activities, form important parts of the life of the students. This importance is well indicated in the spread of facilities at the campus. There are full-fledged clubs which seek the all-round developments of the students.

Most of the students reside on the campus and thereby get full opportunity to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities leading to a holistic personality development. With most of the faculty members also residing on the campus and coming from nearly areas, there is a unique, close and family – like relationship between students and teachers.
